Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chashme Shahi, and Pari Mahal or Shankaracharya Temple. The evening is free for leisure activities. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is situated in the heart of the Kashmir Valley at an altitude of 1,730 meters above sea level. The city, spread along both sides of the Jhelum River, is renowned for its natural beauty, stunning gardens, waterfronts, and houseboats. Known as the “City of Lakes” and “Venice of the East,” Srinagar has captivated visitors for centuries with its picturesque Himalayan backdrop, glittering lakes lined with houseboats and Shikaras, and the grandeur of Mughal architecture. The charming, disordered placement of houses and their weathered appearance add to the city’s unique charm. Srinagar offers a storybook experience, with snow-capped mountains and Chinar trees setting the scene for activities like hiking, mountain biking, and rafting. The city is also famous for its traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Sonamarg, located 97 km from Srinagar. Sonamarg is nestled in the Sindh Valley, surrounded by flowers and mountains. It serves as the base for various treks to high-altitude Himalayan lakes. You can visit the famous Thajiwas Glacier by pony (on your own). In the evening, return to your Srinagar hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Gulmarg, which boasts one of the world’s best ski slopes and the highest golf course, with 18 holes. Weather permitting, you may also catch a glimpse of Nanga Parbat, standing at over 26,000 feet. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Gulmarg and take a ride on the Gondola, Asia’s largest cable car (ticket at your own expense). The Gondola has two phases: Gulmarg to Kungdoor (Phase I) and Kungdoor to Affarwat (Phase II). In the evening, return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Note: During winter, our vehicle will drop and pick you up from the Tangmarg car stand. From Tangmarg to Gulmarg, clients must hire snow cabs on a sharing basis or rely on ponies and ATVs, payable directly.
After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam, once a popular hill station for the Indian film industry. Pahalgam is renowned for its scenic beauty, healthy climate, meadows, adventure tourism, and breathtaking views. En route, visit the saffron fields of Pampore, the ancient Awantipura Ruins (an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Avantivarman), and enjoy the views of picturesque mountains and the Lidder River. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel and explore the beautiful countryside. Drive through pine forests and take in the breathtaking scenery. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Note: The Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari trips in Pahalgam are done via local taxis and are payable directly.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, leaving with ever-memorable moments.
Refunds take up to 10 working days and will be transferred electronically to your bank account.
